Privacy Policy

Thomas Partners (https://thomas.partners) is operated by HireThomas, Inc., 1111B S Governors Ave Suite 90226, Dover, DE 19904, United States ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the Thomas Partners website and partner app, how we use it, and the choices you have. Contact: thomas@thomas.partners.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address, country, and the profile and onboarding answers you give us (for example skills, background and the kinds of work you are open to).
Agreement and payout details: when you accept the partner terms and the time you did so, and the payout details you choose to add. Bank details are stored encrypted and are only used to pay you.
Connected accounts: if you choose to connect an account (for example LinkedIn, Gmail, Outlook, another business email, Instagram, WhatsApp, GitHub or YouTube), we store a reference to that connection and the limited information needed to show it and use it for the purposes described on its card. You sign in on the provider's page or our connection partner's secure page. We never see or store your passwords.
Messages and activity in the app: requests, approvals, messages between you and us, and a ledger of income and costs for the business you take part in.
Technical data: basic logs (such as IP address, browser type and timestamps) needed to keep the service secure and working.
Visit statistics: on our public pages we count anonymous page views and application form starts (the page, the referring site and campaign tags such as utm_source). We use no cookies and no third-party trackers. A visitor is counted with a one-way code that changes every day, and we do not store your IP address for this. We skip it if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.

Please do not send bank details, identity documents, passwords or sensitive client information in the application form. Applying does not authorize any use of your identity and does not create a partnership.

Google user data (YouTube)

If you connect YouTube, we request read-only access (scope youtube.readonly). We use it only to read your channel's public information and statistics, such as channel name, subscriber count, video count and view counts, so we can show your channel in your profile and match you with suitable businesses. We do not upload, edit, delete or post anything, and we do not access private videos' content.

Thomas Partners' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, do not use it to train AI models, and do not let people read it except with your consent, for security, to comply with law, or when needed to operate the feature you asked for.

You can disconnect YouTube anytime in the app (Connections) or revoke access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. When you disconnect, we delete the stored connection and the YouTube data we hold within 30 days.

How we use information

To run the partner program: create your workspace, match you with businesses, prepare requests for your approval, and run approved work.
To act on connected accounts only within the purpose shown on each card and only with your approval. Nothing is sent from your accounts against your veto.
To calculate and pay your share and to send you statements.
To communicate with you about your account and the program.
To keep the service secure and to comply with legal obligations.

We use software tools, including AI tools, to help operate the program. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the service, under their own security and privacy commitments: hosting and database (Netlify, Supabase), account connection partners (Unipile, Nango), email delivery (Google Workspace, Resend and its sending infrastructure, Amazon SES), payments and banking (Stripe, our bank), and AI service providers used to operate the program. Google user data is shared with these providers only as needed to provide the YouTube feature and always under the Limited Use rules above. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax and accounting records. You can disconnect any account anytime. You can delete your account in Settings or by emailing thomas@thomas.partners; we then delete your personal information and connected account data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.

Security

Connections use the providers' official sign-in or our connection partners' secure pages, tokens are stored by those partners or encrypted, access to data is restricted, and all traffic uses HTTPS.

Your choices and rights

You can access, correct or delete your information, disconnect accounts, and object to or restrict certain uses by contacting thomas@thomas.partners. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have additional rights, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Thomas Partners is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

We will post changes on this page and update the date above. If changes are significant, we will tell you in the app or by email.
